“This is an anti-love song, a song of protest against love” (Daniel Kahn). Psoy: “This definition gave me the idea to “phonetically translate” the idiom “love lays low” by its macaronic "echo" that references Slavoj Zizek’s paradoxical statement about love. In his beautiful atheistic aberration of the Christian view on creation, personhood, and love, Zizek links love to some archetypal cosmic imbalance and paradoxically defines it as an act of violence: “I say: I love you more than anything else. In this quite formal sense, love is evil”. As far as the informal sense is concerned, I hope it goes without saying that God is Love, while “love есть зло” is a bilingual pun and an obvious oxymoron”.
